About Allyson
Allyson Ford, Feldenkrais Method and Life Coach
Allyson's approach to life, informed by years of working closely with nature and animals, rhythms held in all kinds of music, and dedicated training in the Feldenkrais Method, invites individuals to creatively explore thought, breath, movement, and options for action.
Known equally for her classroom teaching, regional and international conference presentations and one-to-one work, her intention is to simplify the process of finding deeper meaning through awareness. Her passion for helping others discover functional change seems tangible.
Allyson enjoys rural life with her family, with daily hikes and learning through Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lessons. She holds a degree in Psychology and has completed numerous certificate programs on related subjects. In addition to her 800 hour Feldenkrais training she has engaged in 300+ mentoring hours and frequently reads on the subjects of nature and somatics.
